My very first post!

Tonight I making my dreams, eh more like thoughts, come true.

I am starting my very first blog! I never thought I’d be one of those girls, but I guess I am. Not going to lie to you, I happened to be watching You’ve Got Mail on TV and the spark happened! Maybe it’s also my self-diagnosed ADD kicking in as I was supposed to be studying for a exam, ugh hate it when that happens.

I just started to really think…I love looking at other’s people’s thoughts and advice about products, fashion, makeup etc…why not have my own space to say what I think. You can ask any one of my girlfriends, family members even my boyfriend about my passion/obsession with all things beauty, it’s pretty intense. Not in a weird way, don’t freak out…yet. LOL! I have a lot of my friends come to me about my thoughts/advice on a new product or a new one they are in search of, and thought might as well put it all in one place.

Since I work as a nurse and I am going to grad school right now, I don’t really know how many times I will be able to post, but I guess we’ll see how it goes!

Anyways as I am staring at my textbook sit next to me in bed (I love to do that…somehow I think the closer it is to me maybe the information will somehow vicariously get into my brain, does anyone else think like that?! LOL) I think I should close this post for tonight with an inaugural post about beauty products, I think it is appropriate.

I think I will start with just telling you my Top 3 Most Used and Loved products of the moment, drumroll please….

1. First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser:

I am obsessed with this cleanser right now. It just does what it needs to do, no frills with this guy. It cleanses your face in the most gentle way, I sometimes would like to use it as body wash…ok just kidding (I am a committed LUSH body wash gal, I’ll do a post on that soon). If your cleanser just ran out, look into this one, you won’t be disappointed. I use this in the AM and PM. Oh and btw, I haven’t learning how to do the links thing yet so until then, you can buy this at Sephora or

2.  Josie Maran Cleansing Oil:

Ok, ok I know what you are thinking, “Another face wash?!”, but I promise it’s for a different function. This cleanser is amazing for removing all the makeup in one step. No face cloths, toner or eye makeup remover needed after using this. It also leaves your skin super duper moisturized. And for my oily girls out there, don’t worry I feel your anxiety. This actually has kept my oiliness under control! Beat that oil!  Tip: Using products with good oils like this one actually fools your face into making less oil! Cool right!? Also available at Sephora.

3. STILA Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner:

I know many of you guys are not comfortable with liquid eyeliner, but I’m giving you another push to try it! This eyeliner is like using a super skinny sharpie on your eye. I know it still sounds daunting, but I promise once your practice a couple times, you get the hang of it and it looks so pretty! A cat eye and red lips…meeeow!! I got mine at Sephora too. I plan to do a tutorial soon on how I do my everyday subtle cat eye.

Well that’s it for tonight gals, hope I inspired you guys about some things and let me know your thoughts if you get any of these products!

Have a great Saturday night out on the town ladies!

Elyse ;)
