Obsessed with…

Accessories! I have found myself to be looking for the perfect accessories for Fall more than clothes lately (strange, I know). I think it’s so chic that hat, capes, faux fur vests are the hottest trend right now for the season. It gives us an excuse to really dress up while being out and about this season. I mean not that I need an excuse to wear a faux fur vest and a big floppy hat, but I’m happy that I won’t be the only one…LOL! I have also been really contemplating over the David Yurman link bracelet to add my stack. I think it is so gorgeous and timeless, and a pretty reasonable price. What have you guys been eyeing these days?!? Have a great day!

Top: Express | Skirt: J.Crew Factory | Clutch:  ℅ GiGi New York | Bangles: Candles and Confetti | Necklace: ℅ Benevolent Jewels | Watch: Michael Kors via Nordstrom | Ring: ℅ Julie Vos  |  Blow-dry and Do: ℅ Blo Blow Dry Bar Midtown | Nails: OPI Kiss Me I’m Brazilian

I was a huge Greek mythology buff back in high school and always loved how Elysian Fields sounded like my name. So I thought this post was the perfect opportunity to just stick my name in there. I’m a nerd, I know.

I have been dying to wear this pleated maxi, but was on the hunt for the perfect top to wear it with. I finally found my match made in heaven when I found this top during the Express sale. A sale always makes the find that much sweeter. This clutch from GiGi New York is like a chameleon. It can literally go with any outfit and still stand-out all at the same time. I love how it is also THE PERFECT size, not even exaggerating. I went to have lunch with my boyfriend after shooting this look and didn’t have to sacrifice only taking my ID, credit card and loose money with this clutch (you know what I mean).

My ethereal hair was made possible by the lovely ladies at Blo Blow Dry Bar in Midtown. Blo Midtown is an awesome one-stop-shop for taming your mane. I went in with two-day old hair (not cute) and came out with bouncy locks and a super cute side braid to complete my Greek-goddess look (I showed a picture from Pinterest and got exactly what I wanted). Not to mention, I got in and out of there within an hour, so you can definitely enjoy Midtown/Downtown while having your hair looking movie-star ready. I documented the process from start to finish, so be on the look-out for a post all about that soon.

Please tag me in your pictures on Instagram or use the hashtag #miamibeautygirlinspired if you are ever inspired by my looks and try them out! And please leave me comments on looks you would like to see or just what is on your mind. I always love to hear from you ladies.

White dress: Zara (similar here)| Necklace: J.Crew Factory (similar here)| Blue Bag: Tory Burch (no longer available)| Nude Pumps: Nine West| Polka Dot top: H&M (similar here)| Black Leather skirt: Marshalls (similar here| Black necklace: Pelland Jewelry| Black bag: Lauren by Ralph Lauren (similar here)| Black sandals: Anne Michelle (similar here)| Watch: Michael Kors| Cuff: David Yurman

I’m not a girl that usually wears a lot of neutral colors. When I picked out these outfits, I knew I wanted to spice them up with some bright accessories and statement handbags. I love the white dress from Zara. It has an awesome slimming effect to it, especially since it’s the perfect length to get away with some Spanx underneath…hehe.

I also have been loving the faux leather pieces that are everywhere now, or shall I say “vegan leather.” I got lucky and scored this skirt at Marshalls for $12.99! I am and always will be a Marshalls gal, my Momma trained me right. I have x-ray vision when it comes to weeding out those racks. It takes practice girls, but you can do it too!  I promise.
