I went on a little Forever 21 shopping spree a couple days ago. You think I can still count it as a “Happy Birthday to me” present a week later? Well I couldn’t resist when I saw these awesome high-waisted jogger pants and to-die sling-backs. They aren’t the comfiest of darlings, but you know pain is beauty. I was so excited to finally accessorize my new layered necklace from Culture of Cali, I am in love with it. Adds a little edge, but still simple. I also recently added this lip color to my collection. I really think I will be wearing it non-stop for the Fall. Don’t forget to enter the BeautyBooked Giveaway going on now, contest ends next Monday! You could win a $50 gift card towards any salon or spa service! Good luck! Thanks for reading beauty girls!

P.S. Just had some dental/oral surgery done yesterday, so I am out for a couple days. As soon as I feel better and my chipmunk face goes away, I promise more outfit posts!

P.S.S. I wanted to take a sec to explain what @liketkit means on Instagram. I have had a couple readers ask me about it telling me they are not sure what it is or how it works. It is an awesome way to get all my outfit details straight to your inbox just by liking my picture on Instagram. All you have to do is register online at http://liketoknow.it and that’s it! After that, anyone that has the “@liketkit” or hashtag “#liketkit” under their Instagram picture, you can get their outfit info straight to your email. Hope that helps!

Top: Express | Skirt: J.Crew Factory | Clutch:  ℅ GiGi New York | Bangles: Candles and Confetti | Necklace: ℅ Benevolent Jewels | Watch: Michael Kors via Nordstrom | Ring: ℅ Julie Vos  |  Blow-dry and Do: ℅ Blo Blow Dry Bar Midtown | Nails: OPI Kiss Me I’m Brazilian

I was a huge Greek mythology buff back in high school and always loved how Elysian Fields sounded like my name. So I thought this post was the perfect opportunity to just stick my name in there. I’m a nerd, I know.

I have been dying to wear this pleated maxi, but was on the hunt for the perfect top to wear it with. I finally found my match made in heaven when I found this top during the Express sale. A sale always makes the find that much sweeter. This clutch from GiGi New York is like a chameleon. It can literally go with any outfit and still stand-out all at the same time. I love how it is also THE PERFECT size, not even exaggerating. I went to have lunch with my boyfriend after shooting this look and didn’t have to sacrifice only taking my ID, credit card and loose money with this clutch (you know what I mean).

My ethereal hair was made possible by the lovely ladies at Blo Blow Dry Bar in Midtown. Blo Midtown is an awesome one-stop-shop for taming your mane. I went in with two-day old hair (not cute) and came out with bouncy locks and a super cute side braid to complete my Greek-goddess look (I showed a picture from Pinterest and got exactly what I wanted). Not to mention, I got in and out of there within an hour, so you can definitely enjoy Midtown/Downtown while having your hair looking movie-star ready. I documented the process from start to finish, so be on the look-out for a post all about that soon.

Please tag me in your pictures on Instagram or use the hashtag #miamibeautygirlinspired if you are ever inspired by my looks and try them out! And please leave me comments on looks you would like to see or just what is on your mind. I always love to hear from you ladies.
